Using a flat-head screwdriver, scrape off any dirt that’s accumulated on the jockey wheels while back-pedaling.
Apply degreaser to the chain, cassette, chainrings, and jockey wheels and scrub with a stiff brush.
Using an old sponge soaked in soapy water, scrub the chain and clean your teeth, make sure you thoroughly rinse off all the degreaser apply lube to the inside of the chain by rotating the chain one or two complete turns.
